Childcare cost

My childminder is staying open for key workers which I am not classed at. She is going to charge me full fees. My husband and myself have had to go part time each and our income has halved. I simply cant afford the fees. What are my rights?

This is being asked a lot at the moment and there is no one set answer as far as I’m aware. Some other nursery/childminders are asking for half or full pay but it is very much an individual decision. My sister is a child minder is losing 1k a month through closures at the moment, and they will only per her 94 a week to compensate against her loses. You need to check the contract you have signed with your childminder to see if this has already been covered1
