Reusing last years grow bag

Hi

I didn't get round to getting rid of the grow bag I used last year for growing tomatoes and haven't had a chance to get a replacement for this year yet. Can I reuse the one from last year? Can I use it as is, or should I replenish nutrients somehow? I only have a very small yard garden so can't mix it with any existing soil because I have none! I'd like to try and grow leafy veg this time so a different crop from last year.

Thanks

If left with no choice then use as is, but if you have any adding some general purpose fertiliser, like Growmore, chicken poo pellets, Blood, fish & bone, Q4 etc would certainly help
As you are growing a different crop there should be no problem from any residual diseases

Tomatoes like potassium [when they're fruiting] and leafy greens like nitrogen. ANy old fertiliser will do though, or if you have nettles, stick some in a bucket with some water, they'll rot and die and smell like a sewer but if you mix some with some water and water the bags, they'll be feeding your greens :)
Actually, you can stick in any weeds into this bucket as well. I do warn you though, it will really...really...really stink. You might also find rat tailed maggots in there in the summer but leave those alone, they hatch into something that eats pests.

Growbags can be had from £2.50. It's not worth the risk. Go crazy, imagine you have won the lottery, buy a new one..._

You are right DiggerUK, they aren't expensive, but I'd rather not be fined for making a non-essential journey to purchase something non-essential. And if also rather not contract CV19 or risk passing it on to others.

    Thanks Farway

I was hoping someone might say this. I can order some fertiliser from Amazon prime still (they didn't have grow bags in stock though when I checked)!

    Thanks for your help!! 👍

By coincidence I ordered Q4 from Amazon just the other week £13.90, blooming large tub which will see me through all summer. Other suppliers are available ;)
