Vulnerable Daughter

My daughter decided to stay at her university halls when the university closed a couple of weeks ago as she needed to catch up with her coursework and most of her friends were also staying there. The uni library was still open although her courses were all online.
My daughter is vulnerable as she has mental health issues and, having spoken to her tonight, after the restrictions being announced, I am seriously concerned for her. She was in a terrible state about it all and I really believe that she will not be able to cope without seeing someone she knows well on a daily basis.
I think that she would be best off at home, being as she's in a flat by herself and can no longer meet her friends.
Her dad wants to go and collect her from the university halls which are about 80 miles away.
Does anyone know who we would need to speak to about this (or, from whom we would need to get permission from to go and collect her)?

why would you need permission. Just go get her and bring her homeAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......1

Go get her, you are bringing her home for the purpose of caring for a vulnerable person.
There will I’ll be a bit of movement tonight and tomorrow as people get themselves to where they will be spending the lockdown.0 -
Thanks for the replies, I wasn't sure if collecting her would be covered by the new rules. I thought that if stopped by the police (unlikely, I know) with a car load of her belongings it would look rather suspicious.0

Yes, I agree. You should do what is necessary to keep people safe, especially as you can do it without coming in to contact with others. Go and collect her as soon as you can, in case this keeps getting worse.0

I considered the need to do the same (much further away) and if it comes to in then I'll do it as it is caring for a vulnerable person0
