Moving House

Hi,
I am planning to move in with my girlfriend and have given notice to my landlord about ending my tenancy agreement.
Am I still able to move house during the lockdown? I don't need any removal company as I don't have that much furniture/belongings so only need a couple trips in my car. Is this ok? Essential for housing??

We completed on our house today. I understand that we won't be able to get removals and also that we can only leave the house for essential travel. Would this be classed as essential travel though.0

I'd say that is definitely fine as it is totally essential. Plus, you are able to go about it without coming in to contact with other members of the public.
I don't see any reason why this should stop you doing this kind of activity.
