You have missed all the points I made for you earlier:
It's nearly there for a P/Eye defence but needs a bit added about the fact it is unlikely that their landowner authority allows them to disregard the BPA CoP about grace periods, and chucking in mention of a lack of a 'legitimate interest' in pursuing genuine customers whose actual parking time did not exceed the allowed hours, and adding in mention of the BPA/Kelvin Reynolds article, like this one:

I thought I had included landowner authority and Kelvin Reynolds, but couldn't find a good template for legitimate interest - could you provide a link where i could find this? And could you tell me what's missing from the landowner authority and Reynolds please?

I went back through the link you provided:
    1. Landowner authority was included in hatman's first defence but then removed in the second version??
    2. Legitimate Interest is not included in hatman's defence or at least I can't see it??
Would appreciate helpful guidance not off hand remarks

I thought that PE had their own legals in house, are they therefore allowed to add on an extra £50.

I've read so many threads now, but your comment rings a bell - with PE you can't/shouldn't include unreasonable costs within the defence. I think you may be correct, can anyone confirm or comment further?

Pretty much water well under the bridge, from a long, long time ago. That tack has been tried almost from the day Rachel Ledson sold her soul to the devil some 7 years ago. Nothing to be gained from sending absolute newbies off on a wild goose chase.

This is hard enough as it is!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I just found loads in two seconds flat, by Googling 'legitimate interest true parkingeye moneysavingexpert' (seeing as the search function on this forum is horribly broken, Google is better and the word 'true' finds defences not random stuff).

    e.g. this one:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5900766/parkingeye-claim-form-ticket-june-2018

Easy when you know what to Google.

I have been on this board for years and still struggle mightily with the forum search.
