has anyone heard of ' wayleave ' it is money you get if an ie. electric pole is on your property

Our garden contains the transformer for 7 other properties plus us. We get wayleave for it.
We get wayleave for the underground cable from there to a pole crossing a stream to next door. There's a pole their side, which only serves them - they don't get wayleave for that.0
