I think Paris is a little over rated, I have been there twice and quite honestly I would prefer a cottage in the Lake District with a real fire.

I would quite like a luxury spa day/weekend if my husband was to ask me, not likely though, I think hes bought me a Magimix, if he has, I'll throw it at him, along with the Dyson he bought me last year!

Haha, i would throw it at him too, :rotfl:.

I love the idea of a real log fire to chill in front of when its as chilly as it is. :T

Hey your all making me rethink what i want for xmas - my blokie will not be impressed, lol!:p
Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea
  • My boyfriend 'made' a spa at home, with candles, soft music, and my ownbeauty therapist :) . It was nice to be pampered for a whole evening! Homemade dinner is always lovely.
A hair appointment is also a good idea.
For nail things, check out Opi. They've just arrived in London and they have the cutest names for each colour (I have a hot pink called 'The lifeguard makes me blush').
I think you can get chocolates and wine with eprsonalised labels, and let's not forget the old cheesy favourite: a mixed tape. Although for this day and age you could create a special 'I love you' playlist on her iTune and synchronise it... It would be a lovely surprise!
I also remember making me a REALLY cheesy 'calendar' :) I loved it :)
Check out asos.com for presents as well, I just love that website, and they have fantastic stuff! Just make sure you don't have it delivered at home, otherwise it won't be a surprise.
If you live in London, the Gilbert Gallery, just under Somerset House is having a sale, with a lot of things up to 75% off. It's not widely advertised, but a lot of the stuff in there is great (and pink!).
Ice-skating in Somerset House is also lovely, especially late at night :)

And one to remember if you really want to be romantic: booking a pod for you and your significant other on the London Eye. I know around Valentine's you can book it for the evening with dinner and everything, but I think you can book it individually at other times too!
    I :heartpuls Procrastination.
