Huge stress...... I had no points.... I now have 9...... I got a speeding ticket from a hire car..... 
Lost paperwork... Emailed the police... 
Got a letter from. Court.... Completed online saying i was a carer and huge mistake etc apologised....
Now i will lose my job as i drive motability cars..... Can i appeal??? 
Happy 2 pay fine??

Pepipoo is the best place to pose such questions. They'll ask for redacted scans of all paperwork to be able to give you best advice.

If I've understood you correctly you pleaded guilty, so you can't appeal against the verdict. You could appeal against the sentence, but while they could reduce (or increase!!) the fine, the points are mandatory.

To get 9 points you must have been convicted of both the speeding and the failing to supply charges, which shouldn't be possible unless you pleaded guilty to both?

There was probably a simple way to have just got three points, but it sounds like that opportunity is long gone. As Car_54 says you need to post exactly what happened, and most importantly of all - Did you plead guilty to both offences ?

Who lost the paperwork?  Did the hire company pass the information onto you to deal with?

Yes, Pepipoo is the place. Quite how you managed to get nine points is mysterious unless, as suggested, you simply pleaded guilty to both. If that is the case it will be very difficult to recover the situation. However, if you're going to post on Pepipoo there's no point in going into great detail here.
