Birmingham Midshires Buy to LET Mortgage Holidays - Corona Virus

Hi,
Has anyone tried to contact Brimingham Midshires about payment holidays? I've been on hold waiting to speak to them for nearly 2 hrs and counting. They are part of the Lloyds group, the general website has links to their various financial arms ( and how to apply for payment holidays due to the virus) but fails to provide a link for Birmingham Midshires! I have an interest only buy to let mortgage and need to arrange a payment holiday asap. Does anyone have any news on their policy or had anyone pick up the phone after waiting this long? I spoke to someone else from the company last week who said they were trying to get a link sorted and that i just needed to wait in the phone queue, but now I am wondering if anyone is likely to pick up or wether I should try again in a few days?
Any info gratefully received

Glad it worked out. Can I ask if you had to declare that your tenants couldn't afford the rent in order for them to agree a payment holiday?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. I waited over an hour today. I’ll try again later in the week and be prepared to wait longer. Really bad service - over 2 hours is excessive0

Hi, we are days away from completing a buy to let re-mortgage with Barclays (from Birmingham Midshires). This morning we received an email from the Barclays enlisted solicitor to say they could not complete because Barclays had not made the funds available. We are set to move to a sub 60% LTV mortgage. We emailed our Barclays advisor and were informed that this 'cancellation' (as reported by the solicitor) was due to a lack of man-power as opposed to a wholesale retraction of the offer. I am a little concerned that this might not be the case. Our present mortgage is with BM and we had no intention of continuing with it. Our new rate starts in two weeks - which pushes the payments up to something like 3 times our current payment. Without our broker, is it possible to move to the next fixed rate at BM? It looks like it might be but their recorded phone message states that we have to have a broker to undertake any changes on our behalf. Any advice gratefully received...0
