I.D required during a lock down?

I decided to leave home for a few weeks and stay with my partner. The problem is I currenty live with my elderly mother and stepfather, hence why I decided to move out for a few weeks as they have local help. Prior to this I used travel back and forth regularly and now I am out of the area and quite a distance I've been told that if a lockdown comes into place then people would be required to show I'D just to get to shops etc? I didn't take anything like I'D with me apart from bank cards which I doubt would be valid. Can anyone give any advice on this?

Ask your mum to post something valid to you though if it shows your address is outwith the area it would possibly mean you are asked to return to your home. Who knows what will happen next week.
