holidays with monthly payments

Does anyone know of a holiday company that, rather than demand a massive deposit, would accept a smaller deposit and allow the balance to be repaid monthly. We are looking at going away next year and would like to spread the costs.

We booked our holiday last year directly through First Choice and we just phone up every month with our account number and the amount we want to pay. We did have to pay the full deposit though. They normally try and offer you insurance but if you tell them another tour operator is offering free insurance they will price match it.0

According to the Virgin Florida brochure to April 2006 (page 14) they offer direct debit if you book at least 4 months before travel. They will take set amounts from your bank account until 8 weeks before departure, which is when the balance is normally due. The second option is that they will take the entire amount directly 8 weeks before departure, but from what you say this is not quite what you want. You can advise them at booking or contact their Sales Ledger Dept on 0871 222 0056.0

Why not try doing a diy, i know that excell flight company https://www.xl.com do a £40 per person deposit and the balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure. And https://www.wintersunshineholidays.com do cheap accommodation you pay 10% now then the balance 5 weeks before departure. Thus leaving you time to save and get interest in the bank.
also a diy can sometimes work out much cheaper.0
