The prize:

The winner will receive a £1,700 voucher from the upmarket cottage company Boutique Retreats. The voucher is valid until March 2021 and can be redeemed against any short break for up to four people in one of the company’s UK properties.

So, for example, you could book a couple’s retreat at clifftop Silvertide, on Whitsand Bay, south Cornwall — where a wall of windows opens to let in the sunshine. Or you could settle on the banks of the Hampshire Avon in Undercastle Cottage, which has half a mile of private fishing out front and the New Forest behind.

Other properties include Rocksalt, a seafront cottage in Mousehole, Cornwall, and the chic, modern Threshing Barn, in the Devonshire countryside.
