Told to Work From Home - Bills

I haven't even been told I can work form home yet, but I am preparing for it. I have spend over £100 so far in the hope this will happen as I am sure it will (most of that was on an additional monitor as it will be too slow to work with one). Personally I consider this a small price to pay to be able to work from home, many people who have to go into would love to be in the position to work from home.
If you really feel you can't afford the extra expensive of it then go to work but you will be putting yourself and others at risk.1 -
could you sit in someone’s garage or shed - I have no heating anyway and feel really uncertain about having the work’s lap top in my home (been announced today we will be home working, pls collect laptop and headset from work) so what I propose to do is go to my parents and sit in their out building office hours whilst parents sit indoors - well maybe Dad will be handy for any IT panics that crop up 😊0

In theory there could be planning issues but otherwise I can't see what prevents you from doing so, although I am unclear as to why you feel it is necessary to move to your parents, especially if they are in the vulnerable category.1
