    My wife's had a mini coupe cooper s for the last 5 years [hard top] and we both love it. She'd buy another one soonish if they still made them, so i'm buying it off her [for a fair price] and she's buying a countryman instead.

    We have owned a Mini Cooper convertible for about a year.  Brilliant, well made car IMO.  No problems/faults so far.  We also had a MX-5; similar comments apply. 

    You can have the roof down more often than you might think.
