Income protection insurance

Hi, I was looking to get income protection insurance but I don't know where to begin.  I can't seem to find any articles on the site?!
I have just got life insurance through AIG so maybe they could help?
I only get 4 weeks full pay if I'm off sick so I'm keen to get something in place just in case.

Thanks
David.

Speak with an independent broker as they will advise of the appropriate policy for your personal circumstances.

Just to make you aware, a good number of insurers are now writing corona virus exclusions automatically on any new applications received which are designed to start paying out after 4-8 weeks or less.  If this pandemic is your main concern you'll need to be pretty choosy about which insurer to use.
