would ebay waive fees or at least allow an extended time to pay back monthly fees?

I havn't yet seen anything online regarding this. Whilst I havn't got a great deal of money tied up in my paypal account, I have my ebay fees set aside plus some additional money that I will transfer over to my bank shortly. Ebay must see a decline in sales across the platform wouldn't it be nice if they actually waived some fees or at least shop fees for a short period. Being self employed these last few weeks and the forseeable future is going to hit alot of sellers really hard.

And on another note, I sent something out Friday and paid online through Interparcel for Parcel Force 24 hour delivery using the post office drop off service. When I got there to hand my parcel they say that parcel force will have a reduced service so it won't arrive by the given time. There was nothing on the Interparcel site mentioning this at the time so I paid extra for a service that has a delay. This is not ebay's fault at all but they obviously must see that sales are dropping and also that some delivery services are also not coping.

eBay have so far not announced any actions that they intend to take to assist sellers, instead all the messages urge sellers to protect themselves by extending dispatch times and even using holiday settings to take a break.

I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for any serious help from eBay.

Parcelforce have reduced their service quite drastically.
We use them daily to our sites across the UK. We can no longer get same day collection of parcels and whereas our outgoing post used to go on pre-9AM as the guys need the kit first thing, the best that they will do now is a 24 hr service and they do not guarantee that.

Their service at the moment has been scaled back more than it was at Christmas. Obviously they have been hit by staff having to go into isolation like any other company and have brought in their contingency plans to cope so delivery guarantees are out of the window.

Interparcel were probably not even aware. We only found out when we couldn't book our normal collections on the Web app we use and then further questioning of our regular Parcelforce driver. Parcelforce have made no attempt to broadcast their restrictions to the public (or even their account holders) at all

I see we have all been charged end of month fees for March. I didn't expect much from ebay but thought they might have offered something in terms or reducing shop fees or something. I closed my shop just in time to not be charged anything for April but knowing ebay they will find someway of finding something I'm at fault for. I was advised on a phone call from ebay to close the shop before April kicked in so as not to pay further fees and I've also removed all stock.

    UPDATE
***i see now they are providing help for April and May
