Can self employed claim the SSP yet?

Can self employed people actually claim the universal credit/ssp amount of £94 per week yet?? I can’t find anywhere online at all where you can actually apply!!

You just claim UC in the normal way. The reference to UC is just that the allowances are being increased so that a single person UC will get a standard allowance amount equivalent to SSP. They will get less if they have other income or savings over £6,000.
