Do you have to pay for TV licencing if you watching YouTube movies or other videos?

”Hi, thanks for contacting us. You only need a licence to view, record download or stream live TV or watch anything on the iPlayer. As long as the video isn't being streamed live and you are watching it as its being shown on TV then you don't need a licence. Thanks”

”No, you wouldn't need a licence in this example. If you watch any programme on the iPlayer you need a licence whether it be live or on demand but YouTube is neither of those things. Thanks”
