I am sure you know what I mean, please read Fruitcake's excellent post here
The PM said he was going to sort out parking charges at hospitals, so as well as your MP I suggest you ask him to sort this out.
I am serious.
Yes, Corona virus is important and there are lots of other things to sort out, but the rest of the country needs to keep going as well.
I suggest you tell him you don't want the NHS/hospital management team spending valuable time on this, but you can't afford to pay this scamvoice.
Suggest he makes emergency measures to instruct all the unregulated private parking companies to stop processing charges as there is no way the motoring public can go and collect evidence, take pics of signs, or attend court in the current crisis.

Well said, I'm sure the parking companies will be taking advantage of the weak at this time, people who are rushing into hospitals especially, the last thing they will be thinking of is parking tickets, until they get the PCN, then they will be worrying about charges they probably can not pay as they are not working.
I stumbled across this gem of a forum in my sheer panic over what I was going to do, I like many others thought it was my fault and had to pay, the people on this site are helpful and knowledgeable and are true unsung hero's, the MSE forum needs to be spread far and wide so people know where they can go to get help, as Citizens Advice is not much use and gave me very little help.
Checking out my claimants and solicitors I discovered they grossed millions in profits over the last few years and that amount has risen each year, lets try to bring that amount down and fight them for it.

Because of the virus, the new code of practice will no doubt be delayed.
But you know the law works in strange ways and I think that given the sheer abuse these companies and their legals have given the courts and the public, the courts have introduced new Civil Procedure Rules covering a statement of truth. LIES and fabrications and fake add-ons will mean contempt of court.
This could mean heavy fines and possible sanctions and at worse, a spell in prison
This is a sideways step and the legals now need to be on their guard because the courts will heavily clamp down on them. Then the question will be asked about their validity as SRA members.
We will see how many claims will be knocked off their perch and it is danger times for those who profit from their scams

Thank you Beamer, it is good to know that I am not on my own. I firmly believe that we can grind these companies into the ground if we stop playing Mr Nice Guy and start playing hard ball. We know that a large number of MPs are on our side. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

What I am struggling with is the logic, how does being nice to PPCs save lives? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

That OP is either a desperate PPC or one of those very sad people who are ram raiding the shelves in supermarkets2

Why so toxic towards anyone who dares have a differing viewpoint to you.1
