Refund?

Just looking for a bit of help. I’m supposed to be going away (within the UK) on Monday, however the resort we’re going to now won’t have its restaurants and bars open, so there’ll be nowhere to eat. Am I entitled to a refund? They’re saying that I can get a credit for the amount paid and book again within a year but I don’t want to do that. What are my right?
