Refund for cancelled package holiday

I had a flight & hotel package booked with Lastminute.com. Yesterday I had an email to say that it’s been cancelled & I would receive vouchers as a refund. I’ve just managed to speak to someone at customer care & they’re refusing to refund the money back onto the card I used to pay. They’re insisting I have to accept vouchers valid for a year. I don’t want vouchers because I won’t be travelling in the next year. What can I do?

Hi,
Did you manage to resolve this? I am in the same position and would like to know if I have to accept vouchers? I'm disgusted with the way lastminute have dealt with this situation and do not wish to book another holiday with them!0 -
Read the terms and conditions pertinent to your booking. Do they say that Lastminute.com can offer vouchers valid for a year instead of refunds?0
