Credit in credit card

If I receive a refund for cancelled holiday paid for by credit card but my credit card has a zero balance as I paid it with debit card, what happens, does credit card stay in credit or can I get it transferred to my bank account

    You call them - and they'll arrange a payment back to you. (Unless it's a small balance and you choose to spend it sooner rather than later).

    Yes, same with me. My Mastercard will soon be in credit by £2400 and I obviously want that money in my current account ASAP! I won't be booking another holiday soon :-) That's a relief to know.
