Poor mobile phone reception

I have tried the main mobile phone providers eg: Vodafone , O2, and Virgin, which is my present provider. But Most of the time I do not get a signal in my home. I have spoken to them all and the only response I get is that the signal in my area is very good. it is very frustrating and although I now want to move from Virgin because the signal is so poor in my home I am at a loss as to which company I should try. I wondered whether BT might be better but am reluctant to go to the trouble of setting up a new sim in case that should turn out to be useless. Does anyone have any suggestions to what I could try.

I don't get a phone signal in my sisters house in wales as opposed to an internet signal because of the walls. If your signal is poor for the same reason no one is going to be better than the other.

Have you tried Three, their coverage isn't renowned for being great, but it seems to be the only network you haven't tried yet
