UK Wedding Coronavirus

Good afternoon, My daughter is due to get married a week on Sunday. The wedding venue is refusing to let her even postpone at this stage until the government make an announcement to that effect. Some of her independent suppliers are now cancelling and her wedding is rapidly falling apart. We have emailed the venue and my daughter has spoken to one of their directors as a result but, as at midday today, they are still refusing to let her postpone. This is obviously going against all government advice, putting all guests and staff at risk, and we are at a loss as to where to turn next. My daughter is obviously distraught and I am appealing for any advice/suggestions as to what we can do to try and get the venue to agree to a postponement. Wedding insurance is in place, although we don't know how effective that will be in this situation, but if she cancels she won't be covered for anything anyway. Any advice will be gratefully received. Thank you.

Hopefully it's covered by the government's announcement this afternoon. It doesn't expressly say wedding venues, but they must be included in 'Food and drink venues for consumption on-site'1
