Things can get lost in these processes though. I had a very small (~£100) pension transferred from GA to Norwich Union to Aviva. When it finally got to NRA they had no record of marriage, even though I had a letter from the time confirming they had had the certificate and noted the details. At least they seemed to have copied over the changes of address correctly over the years!

Is anyone else still locked out of accessing their pension on L&G, with no contact from Reassure?
It's a real shambles. You'd have thought with 6 months extra to prepare, they might have handled it better.
I'm thinking of jumping ship at the first opportunity to merge it into one of my bigger pots - these guys seem like a bunch of jokers.

EDIT: A word of warning. The reason I have received nothing is because after L&G transferred to Reassure, they sent out annual statements, internet access codes, etc to the very first address that I ever gave L&G, 13 years ago, despite changing address 5 years ago. Reassure can see the "changed" address on their computer systems, but the default mailing address they use is the one when the policy was taken out.
So, if anyone is lacking correspondance and has changed address since starting the pension, I'd advise looking into it.
As an aside, the lady on the other end of the phone was fantastic. A lengthy delay to get my call answered, but good quality customer service once I was through.

A huge Data Protection Breech if it’s a systemic issue - I’m sure it’s all being reported through the proper channels
  • Hello everyone. I have a  Stakeholder pension, with L+G since 2002, and now transferred to Reassure. Didn't know of this company compared to the established L+G.  Wondering if i should move to another established company. Im 60 years old now and not sure what to do. Any advice would be most welcomed?

    Thanks! KG

Difficult question to answer without knowing your financial situation and motivation for wanting to move your pension. Maybe one for an IFA really.
