My wife has decided that since we are stuck in the house to take stock of all the food and groceries and cleaning stuff we have in the house.
Is there an Android app that I can install on my tablet that will let me take a photo of the barcode and put it in a list and total how much I have of each different item?

Good grief, how much are you hoarding that you need an app to keep track of it all?st999 said:Is there an Android app that I can install on my tablet that will let me take a photo of the barcode and put it in a list and total how much I have of each different item?0 -
We are not hoarding anything, my wife decided to tidy up and see what we had in the cupboards.Chino said:Good grief, how much are you hoarding that you need an app to keep track of it all?
In her tidying up my wife found a tin of crushed pineapples with an expiry date of June 2011, I got the job of tasting them to see if they were OK.
They were.
I had the job of counting everything, I just thought I could take a photo and eventually print out what we had.0 -
Tinned food will be edible long after the expiry date. I remember an article on some tinned food that was 50 or 60 years
out of date from the antartic expedition and they tasted everything even the tinned meat. Low temperatures may
have helped but even without that it should be safe. Lacking taste and a bit mushy maybe but safe.
