Is this worth appealling?

Yes it is worth appealing.
If the vehicle is not hired or leased, then send the already written for you blue text template appeal easily found in the first post of the NEWBIES thread - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822/newbies-private-parking-ticket-old-or-new-read-these-faqs-first-thankyou/p1.
Send it unchanged - no additions or alterations needed.
Send it as the keeper.2 -
If they were to take this to court, imo they are likely to struggle. Popla is not impartial and the other lot even more so. You could ignore this, many people here disagree, so read this thread and weigh up the risks.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6116701/let-us-ignore-all-pcns#latestNine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

The more information you are able to supply, the better answers you will get.
Your last two one-word posts are, frankly, insufficient.

Sorry, it was the Marco Island car park in Nottingham. The first ticket was a machine ticket and the second ticket was purchased via parkonomy. The password reset for the online payment took around 45 minutes to arrive and there was no option to backdate the payment to cover the time between the end of the first ticket and the start of the second ticket if that makes sense.0
