I've been with tonik over 4years
I've always swithed to a better taffif mid term or whenever a better deal appears
In one year I switch 4times and in others mayb just twice,
I called them today and I was told this was an error and I can longer swith mid term with the same provider.
I have no exit fee which I have also been told all new tariffs now have fees to exit.

It's not true that all Tonik tariffs have exit fees: they have some variable tariffs but they're very expensive. It's just the nature of a competitive market, nothing lasts forever. A company that's competitive one month may not be so the next, one that's good for electricity may not be good for gas and vice versa. Same applies for insurance, broadband etc. There's no bonus for being loyal, quite the reverse. Hop off and change providers, there's another one right behind !Don't forget that separate suppliers often work out cheaper, and that gas prices are expected to fall.Usual rules apply: always compare annual cost based on actual meter readings, ignore the costs of monthly DDs (which may not keep up with your actual usage) and ignore all claimed savings.1
