Scotland missives concluded can / should we try to bring forward the DoE?

After several failed attempts at selling our house, we finally concluded missives last week. DoE early April. We agreed 4 weeks delay between conclusion and DoE so we could clear the house. Given the CV19 situation, we have accelerated everything and should be completely out by this weekend.
Question is should we suggest an earlier DoE? (Assuming our buyer has funds available and can complete earlier.)
I am also stressing over the potential for something awful to befall the buyer, such as one of them suffering severe illness or death. What happens then?
Gawd this house selling/buying malarkey is stressful enough without the current health emergency to contend with!
Thank you.

Do you have reason to believe the buyer is at all likely to fall seriously ill or die within the next couple of weeks? Even if they do, the contract is still enforceable, so (if they can't settle on time) you'd be entitled to pursue them (or their estate) for your costs.Anyway, there's no harm in asking if you want to bring forward the date of entry. Just don't tell them it's because you've had premonitions about their death.1
