Part time job at school

I work part time in non teaching role in the school and it's due to close tomorrow. My son who is 9 attends the school. My husband is an engineer and is not able to work from home. His company is carrying on as normal.
I was asked if I could work in school ongoing for the key workers children. I presumen being a teacher I am not a key worker. I am the sole carer for my child . So I had to say I couldn't help unless care was offered for my son while working. I would willingly work if my son could be looked after but I presume that they are not allowed for him to attend the emergency school. School are still trying to sort stuff out so no idea if we get any pay or not. If we worked in a company that was forced to shut then we would get something like sick pay.
Is anyone else in same position, do they have a clearer idea of what is going on. Thanks

I’m an LSA and unfortunately we don’t have any clear guidance at the moment. However our deputy head has told us we should be getting paid our usual wage0

There is no clear guidance at the moment. Schools have been told they need to provide care for certain groups. Wether that care is in their normal schools or not is still not totally defined. Ive read that some schools in each locality will remain open, may not be the Childs original school but a school they can travel too
As to if you are an essential worker, I imagine for this scenario you will be. I have a hunch that it is anyone in the ES, teaching, transport, food production, etc , basically anyone who is working to keep the country running0
