Working rax credit, zero hours contract and coronavirus

I've been looking for information as to what I might be able to claim, I currently get working tax, and child tax credits, but as of next week I don't think I will be getting any wages as we may have to close.

I will still be employed just with no hours, and I should be able to return to my job eventually, my employer won't be able to pay me anything because there will be no money coming in, as we are a cafe.

You are in a difficult situation. You may be able to claim Universal Credit but if you do it will end your Tax Credits and you will not be able to go back to them. Use a benefits calculator https://www.gov.uk/benefits-calculators to see what you might get on UC and you can then decide whether or not it is sensible to claim.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
