Good Afternoon MSE world,
Hope you are all staying safe and indoors where possible!
Today my girlfriend has out of the blue received an email from the businesses director advising all 5 members of her teams have had their hours reduced from 37.5 hours to 8.5 hours. They quoted the 'lay off without pay' clause detailed in an employee handbook. She has recently advised the company she is pregnant and due September please can I have some advice on where we need to be looking in regards to her contract. She is currently too upset to look into it all, please can I have some advice?
Thanks
Tom
