"Crash" is a word thrown about too much, a crash is in my mind a loss of 80% or more. People often say the crash of 1929, but from what I understand the crash actually happened over months and months where the value crashed up and down and eventually down massively. Are you saying this will happen again?EdGasketTheSecond said:The BoE and Gov't are desperate. A crash is coming the likes of which has not been seen. Gold and silver the only place to be now.0 -

Scene: BBC Editorial office"The BOE rate has dropped, we need a headline""How about, 'Rate dropped from a tiny fraction of a percent to a tinier fraction of a percent' ""Accurate, but no that won't do. How about 'base rate cut by more that half!' ""Better, and I like the !""Hmm, no, I've got the perfect clickbait... SLASH...EMERGENCY"Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."5 -
