HURRY Sir Dance just seen thisBritain's gin distilleries rally to fight coronavirus by switching production from alcohol to make hand sanitiser

Umm
Did I just morph into redx
Of course, it is serious - no-one is denying that. And, agree with Beamerguy about the panic buyers. But I don't think it helps to talk about mothers beating children and soldiers shooting looters. Most likely use of the army is ferrying supplies and (sadly) dealing with some of the aftermath

How will that work then, I struggle with this forum sometimes, how on earth would I defend a BOC in a residential parking lot where the MA, and the MC support the PPC

I read that before I posted. Does no-one agree with me that we should ignore? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Those who know what they're doing might chance following your proposal, but you seem to overlook that 90%+ of those who come to the forum are traumatised by having the hooks of the PPC in their flesh and desperately want to do something to make it all go away. However, remember those dark nights when burying your head in the pillow made sure the bogeyman would go away? So there may be many who might find 'ignore' advice to be manna (ostrich position always great for the weak when uncertain), but as there are six years for legal proceedings to be issued (will you still be offering advice when you're almost 86?), the advice may well come back to bite us and them - significantly more court cases to deal with then than now. 3 years ago, hardly ever a court case thread. Just look at the first few pages of the forum, hardly a thread that isn't a court case now!Not a runner IMHO.😒Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I completely agree with your opening post D_P_Dance. I think the threat of social unrest is very real, depending on how things pan out. My husband is experiencing high anxiety due to fearing for very vulnerable people he loves. We are both self-isolating for at least 12 weeks due my reduced immunity, we haven't been able to get supplies as yet without going out and the pharmacy won't deliver my medication. Well, actually they flipping well will - they just haven't heard from me yet.
However we are resourceful, have enough to live on, decent accommodation and people who have our backs. Maybe we would ignore a PCN in the current circumstances, though probably not. However there are a lot of people out there who will struggle even more than usual financially and to risk storing up potential costs down the line would be foolish. And if they have the time to fight back, then doing so may provide a distraction not to mention one way of alleviating the sense of powerlessness that many of us are experiencing.
