Just a general question. If a case goes to a small claims court how do they decide where to hear it? I'm in West Midlands and I'm pursuing Samsung who are based in Sheffield.0

Assuming you are a consumer, (and Samsung is obviously a business), the matter is usually allocated to a court close and convenient to you.veradrives said:Just a general question. If you are a business, then you will usually be considered on equal footing, and so it is usually allocated to a court close and convenient to the defendant.
Ultimately, either/both parties can make written submissions as to where any hearing should take place and the court will have the final say.
