Currys abysmal customer service

Needed to discuss delivery of appliance tomorrow as am in the vulnerable category and am in self-isolation. Spoke to CS agent first thing Monday who.advised did not deal with enquires so would message store to call me.  Heard nothing back.  Tried calling CS 6 times but was hanging on (at extortionate rates) so long that I gave up.  Disgraceful.  We have been advised bt the Government not to allow anyone in but what do.I do? Am very concerned.  Just needed to speak to a human being on the phone.

When they arrive shout out the window/through the door ‘sorry I’m self isolating you’ll have to take it back’

Then rearrange when you are no longer self isolating. Am I missing something? Seems fairly simply to me?

Of course Curry's have abysmal customer service, they've spent decades perfecting the art of it. I wouldn't expect anything less.
As above though, I doubt it will be a fundamental problem.

As above, you are in control of this situation. Don't accept delivery.

Is it an appliance you still need? Were they supposed to install it for you or just deliver?

If just delivery then can you not just talk to them through a window and get them to leave it on your doorstep for you to safely take inside once they have left? Or if installation as above tell them through the window that you can't accept it and they'll have to take it back.

What number are you using? Currys is an 0344 number.
