Covid 19 University refund

My sons university stopped face to face lectures probably until the end of the term. So, there is no point for him to stay in uni accomodation. Can we apply for refund for the remaining 3 months? Also he will miss valuable face to face tutoring and laboratory work. Is he eligible for a university fee refund? I am interested what other people's thoughts are.

  • I was wondering the same thing. My daughter is in university and also needs face to face tutorial and lab work. The lectures at her university went on strike last month. If the university is closed for 12 weeks due to the Corona virus will she still have to pay the full tuition fees for the year? Will there be a refund for the period they were closed?
