Pay if work Closes die to virus

My sister works in a private nursery and it will be closing on Friday. From what I can see as my sister is available to work but her place of work is closed she is entitled to full pay.
However her boss is insisting she is allowed to just pay her SSP, I'm 99% sure I'm right about this but can somebody please confirm this.
Just to add I did tell her it would be fair to maybe come to an arrangement but SSP isn't going to cover the rent, electronic, council tax, food etc.
I'm in the same boat myself and both my employers are going to pay full pay.

Normally, if the employer tells you not to come to work, but you are willing and able to do so, you are entitled to full pay.
That said, if your sister has worked there for less than 2 years her employer can simply dismiss her, and if she has worked there longer they could make her redundant as if the nursery is closing then there is no job.
My understanding is that SSP would be for if she was off work due to self-isolating in line with government advice
