Asia trip cut short

Hi paid for a trip to asia for my daughter which included 7 flights , a SE Asia tour and transport plus some activities. With Malaysia and Indonesia borders being closed to travellers from Thailand (or requiring isolation) company has advised to return to UK and arranged a flight, approx 6 weeks / 3 countries early

My question is should the tour company pay a refund on the unused flights and part refund on the unused travel and activities. The company offering the latter (Satay Ways) announced it was stopping so couldn't deliver what we bought. But everything was purchased through the tour company. They are being rubbish, going almost offline the last 2 weeks, not answering phones or replying to email and finally getting thier heads out of the sand and sorting a flight but  even charging extra to get her home. To be honest they were rubbish at everything, mis-selling items and over charging items they sell from other providers, so its no surprise and I'm not expecting them to offer any refund. But I'm curious to know what people think should I pursue for travel insurance or seek refund from them or ABTA/ATOL etc
