Insect mesh. What is the best type of double sided tape that keeps it on a upvc window?

Howdy !
I ordered the usual stuff from fleabay, which will be with me in a few days . However, the thin  sticky tape that is supplied with it , isn't very effective .  Any ideas for something stronger that would do the job?

Thanks 😼

With lots of small houseplants, I get lots of tiny flies, especially in the kitchen. A few months ago I saw an advert for fly catcher window stickers. As I'm disabled and no longer allowed to drive, I have to buy everything needed online, mainly from ebay and Amazon. Researched for cheapest window stickers. Never used before. In less than a week the stickers were completely covered in tiny black flies. Tried different suppliers including known names. Dirt cheap ones from China are as good as expensive ones. Delivery just takes longer, but free. They all look the same - small sticky squares, picture of yellow sunflower. Follow the instructions on the packet. Don't know if they work with bigger flies.
  • Thanks for suggestions .
I have 2 bay windows ( one in living room, and one in the bedroom ). I have shrubs outside my window and would need to cover the side windows with the mesh to keep spiders out .
