Refund on flights - FO not to fly for 30 dayd

Hi
I have 2 flights with easyJet for 1.4.2030 to Faro , Portugal. Based on the FO advice all travel is banned for 30 days. easyJet has said I can change my booking but no refund. Loveholidayz had refunded as they know we can't travel to Faro. Next step please sign easyJet - insurance to pay or credit card ?

FCO Travel Advice is guidance to individuals about whether to travel or not. It is not a ban on flights. Governments can of course do that if they wish done, and some have done.If the FCO are saying not to travel to your destination (and from today that is ALL destinations) then you should be able to claim on your travel insurance.It’s worth holding off though until nearer your departure as easyjet may cancel, in which case you’d get a refund. If not fall back to your insurance (nothing to stop you asking now though if you’re covered or not)1
