Current Account switch rejected

I recently opened an account with Starling and tried to switch from my barclays account. I got the notification today saying Barclays rejected my switch, does anyone have any ideas why this would be?

Does everything you have given Starling match what Barclays have for you eg) address?Are you trying to switch a joint account at Barclays to a sole account with Starling?0

No, everything I have given them matches up. And it's just a sole account0

Did the Barclays come with a switch reward and have you taken advantage of a Barclays switch reward before or even from a bank from the same group as Barclays.0

I don't have any outstanding debt with them nor did I use a switch reward scheme, I'm going to call them when the switch department is open to ask0

They should tell you why it failed - usually it's down to incorrect account details or debit card number. Sometimes it can be down to unpaid debt, which you've already excluded. Best to get in touch and find out.0
