BA baggage refund

We've had our British Airways, USA flight cancelled and today received full refund. We were booked basic economy ( World traveller?) and had paid for one suitcase separately, I'm sure I've previously read that this baggage cost would also be refunded automatically in the event of a flight being cancelled but can't seem to find that again on BA website, can anyone confirm? When I processed the refund for the flight online it made no mention of baggage or other extra costs.
