No luck whatsoever

So, our home is currently on the market, does anyone know where I stand with regards to changing estate agents? Home been on the market for 3 weeks, 1 viewing which didn’t show up and wasn’t confirmed by EA. Then unfortunately at the weekend the owner of the EA passed away. Therefore office has been closed since. In limbo don’t want to appear as harsh but this house needs to sell. Another kick in the teeth is a house on the same road different EA and in dire need of upgrading & higher price is now SSTC. So frustrating when I am in a chain and can’t help but feel someone’s eye is not on the ball! Can I just terminate my contract and go with another EA?

    You will need to read the terms and conditions of the contract you signed with the agent to see if there is a penalty clause.
