    It sucks for sure

    For anyone reading with a Lisa, unless using as a pension consider the risk, length of time you will be saving and whether a cash Lisa makes more sense
    An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......

    At the very least the government bonus absorbed most of the decline in value (not much consolation but worse than if it were in a standard Stocks and Shares ISA)
    Cash would always be best for when you know you need the funds in <5 years otherwise you're at risk to this sort of thing. No-one could of forseen this though so hope everything goes well :(
