Washing machine broken down and not repaired for four weeks..

Hi everyone. We purchased a beko integrated washing machine in july 2018, along with our kitchen from b and q. I extended the warranty as part of the free offer from beko, which gave me cover for 2 years. Four weeks ago the washing machine was washing a load and all of a sudden there was a popping sound and the electrics tripped. I turned them on again and restarted the machine, within seconds there was a flash/spark of electricity in the vent underneath and a smell of burning plastic. Again, the electrics tripped. Contacted beko who sent a repair company to have a look...they came 7 days later. Without even pulling the machine out, says he going to order a new pump and heater and a ream(?). They will be in touch when it's in. I contacted b and q who said there is nothing they can do unless beko have declared it beyond economic repair, and they then give me a collect and deliver number to give to b and q to order another. Last wednesday I contacted the engineer to ask if the parts were in. He is booked to come for this Friday, to fit the new parts.
Beko had informed me that usually the engineers put a report on their system and they decide if its economical to repair,or not. However the engineer only put one part on?their reason for this is because they have the other parts in stock?
My question is, if the parts do not fix it,where do I stand?
Are b and q responsible to replace, despite telling me they are not?
How long is sufficient time to allow a repair under warranty, given we are now at 4 weeks? I am a bit worried they will cancel the visit due to coronavirus-but moreso angry that as a family of four we have been washing machine-less for a month!
Thanks in advance

<My question is, if the parts do not fix it,where do I stand?>Depends upon the terms and conditions of the warranty .<Are b and q responsible to replace> NO you are having the repair under Beko warranty .Timescale under warranty non really .Warranty an extra from the manufacturer and not your Consumer Rights .CR are against in this case B&Q but you have not gone down that route .If you do then B&Q will probably ask for an independent report .

Thanks for your reply, the warranty is repair only but at their discretion they will replace if economically unviable.0

sometimes parts can take a while to arrive, the time to take it further is if they dont turn up on friday, of course if thats due to isolation then not much can be done or if they turn up but cant fix it0

Update... they have just called to inform me that one of the parts is damaged so they are now going to have to order another part and then book me in for it to be repaired. I am so angry I could explode. 4 weeks I have been without a washing machine. PLEASE tell me there is something I can do to get this sorted asap?the washing machine is on finance through Hitachi who financed the kitchen. Surely they cant leave us even more time without?0

Unless their warranty terms say they will act within a certain timeframe, yes they can I'm afraid.0
