Hi -my elderly parents are self isolating but have a British coach trip booked this week. The company have offered them a credit against another holiday, but they are worried that if the company go bust, they wont be able to use it and accepting the voucher may negate any rights they may have had by paying with their credit card. They haven't taken out travel insurance as it's ion this country. Thanks in advance

Credit card "rights" would only apply if the company can't or won't provide the service and I can't see how a change of date would affect that if the company were to go bust before they travel.

There is no right to a refund at the moment as they are choosing not to go. The government have only issued advice at the moment. If that becomes a legal prohibition or if the company cancel the trip then they would be entitled to a refund
