Coronavirus volunteer shopping for self isolators: payments

Hello not sure if this is the right section but I am in a few groups via Covid-19 Mutual Aid and we are making plans to organise volunteers to do some shopping/collect prescriptions for people who are self-isolating. Something that has us stumped is if someone does not have online banking and is unable to go out to withdraw cash/collect pensions, how can they get money to pay for these shops? Of course it would be nice to cover the cost but when someone might be shopping for a few households it's not practical. Would people here have any ideas on how payment can be organised? Thanks!
