More than one trip booked this year

Hi guys,
We have annual travel insurance for the family and this year was our bucket list year. We have booked trips to Iceland, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Estonia.
Now with coronavirus I am busy unbooking...
I will of course start with the things that have easy cancellation policies like Air BnB(who have been great) etc and then move on to the flights. Some of our destinations have Foreign Office Warnings against them so they should be easy to get refunds on. But my question is can we claim for more than one trip/part of trip on our annual travel insurance? We bought it in August and began booking our trips in early January. I ask because my partner once had to claim twice in a year on motor insurance and was told he couldn't which seems counter intuitive because the policy is for the year not per accident. Is it the same with travel insurance?
