Slightly Confused

So, if the UKGov are now advising against all 'non essential' travel does this mean that I can get a refund on my flight to Portugal (through TAP) and the hotel that I had planned to stay in whilst I was there ? its as clear as mud to me <sigh>

I am confused with this also. I am due to fly to Portugal at the start of April but the FCO website doesn't list Portugal as one of the countries not to go to. Ryanair show it as still going ahead. I have travel insurance but unless the FCO specifically advise against going are we covered?0

Can anyone help with this ?

What has your travel insurance provider said, Mark?0

TAP are now offering free rescheduling of flights or refunds in the form of a voucher - check their website.Just to add - we are probably going to take the voucher option as we would need to pay £200 excess if we claimed on the insurance. Luckily got a refund (very quickly) on our hotel room.
